This pair of US Army 22nd Infantry Regiment Distinctive Unit Insignia (DUI) was worn by an Infantryman serving in WWII.
The interesting fact about these pins is that they were manufactured by two separate manufacturers (one is marked “DUROCHARM N.Y.C.” and the other is unmarked). They are two different sizes when they should be one standard size; one pin is off 1/ 16” in in both directions. One has a fine crack in the white enamel (top right corner). This is a rare pair! Both are from my personal WWII military collection.
