William Bill Creitz (1934–2022) was a prominent figure in the post-war Oregon pottery movement. A student of Ray Grimm at Portland State University, Creitz's work is celebrated for its Byzantine and Japanese influences, often blending functional stoneware forms with sophisticated, art-deco-inspired abstract designs.
