It's not unusual for lady killer Renzaburo Taki to share a night with a woman. When she can turn into a demonic spider, however, it's not just worrying, it's his job. As a member of the Black Guard, Taki is sworn to defend the fragile peace treaty that exists between the human and demon worlds. With the renewal of that treaty approaching however, an extremist faction of demons is out to tear it all down. To make sure everything goes smoothly, Taki must protect Giuseppi Mayart, a two hundred year old mystic who will officiate the treaty.
