This is a first edition of the first book to explore the inner workings of WED Enterprises / Walt Disney Imagineering, the division of the Disney company that designed Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland and the other Parks. It was written by Imagineers Bruce Gordon, David Mumford, Kevin Rafferty, and Randy Webster and is illustrated throughout in full color and black-and-white with numerous images of conceptual art and behind-the-scenes photographs.
This first edition has a replica of a WDI envelope mounted to page 7, and inside of it is a reproduction of the 1995 memo, approved by Marty Sklar, that got the book project off the ground.
