Vintage Yamahiro pheasant Vase.
Recycled materials are utilized for packages.
A pair of Pheasants is hand painted on this vase with chresanthum flowers.
During Shogun Era, Samurai used to catch and keep wild Pheasants as their pets.
They were symbols of wealth and power.
This vase was made by Yamahiro Pottery (山弘陶苑) as stamped on its bottom in Japanese.
Hand painted in Japan.
Gold rim still remains its gold color.
Height is 10" approximately.
The mouth's diameter is 3.5" approximately.
