This is an original New Haven electric radio time switch, designed to automatically turn a radio on and off at preset times. It is not a radio, but a clock-controlled power timer used before radios had built-in alarms or sleep timers. The main dial keeps time, while the two upper dials set “Time On” and “Time Off.” A radio would plug into the back of this unit, allowing scheduled broadcasts or music playback.
