Vintage silver-plated chamberstick candleholder. It is designed to hold a taper candle. The wide pan is intended to catch dripping wax and has a decorative, scalloped edge. It features a handle for carrying the candle between rooms, a common design before widespread electricity, date from the 19th or early 20th century. There are no maker marks on the piece. Age-related wear and patina are present and contribute to its authentic vintage condition. The inside of the candle holder doesn’t show signs of previous use, no accumulated wax.
