Vintage & Rare 1999 SID BEAR Talking Porcelain Candy Holder /Jar By My Favorite Company

This item is a “rare find” and is as cute as it can be for a chocolate candy holder/ jar. It is Sid Bear and when you lift the lid he is supposed to say "I Loooove Chocolate." The talker can be turned on and off with a lever on the bottom of the lid.

I am unsure as to how to get the cover off of the lid to change the batteries, so I’m not sure if it talks or not, it is in great condition so I know it hasn’t been mishandled.

It measures 7" tall, 5" wide and 5 1/2" deep. The opening to the jar for the candy is about 4" by 2 3/4" at the widest spot (center). This candy jar is in great used condition considering it’s age no cracks or repairs that I can see. Due to the voice box on the underside of the lid it can only be hand washed but the bottom can be immersed in water.
