1950s McKee Glasbake Hottle Glass Carafes, set of 2 used for Coffee, Tea, Hot Water. These are in in excellent condition and measure 5 1/2 inches high and is 3 1/2 inches in diameter at its widest point. The rubber collars are black. (NO lids)
The Glasbake Hottles were used on trains and in hotels for serving hot tea or coffee. The Hottle would be filled then placed inside the cup to warm the cup and that would keep the coffee or tea warm longer. The embossing on the bottom reads "Glasbake" (circa - 1917-1953).
