Vintage triple strand simulated pearl, lucite and mother of pearl(?) beaded necklace. Purchased at an estate sale along with several other vintage Japanese necklaces and handmade shell jewelry items from the 1930’s-1950’s. This beauty measures 24.5-25.5”. The beads are a beautiful raspberry/pink with cylinders beads in a golden yellow color with pearlescent hues that look like mother of pearl, but I’m not sure if these are genuine or not. The other cylinder beads are a peachy color and don’t have the same pearlescent streaks. There are silver filigree bead caps and a hook clasp. This is not marked Japan on the clasp, but was in the bag it came in. Fabulous vintage piece that can be dressed up or down!
