Vintage Garden Glory Print Framed, Signed By Alberd Williams. A stunning floral prints by English artist Albert Williams, born in Sussex. Picture shows an exuberant flower arrangement in a glass vase against a moss green background. Amazingly detailed, the artist painted individual fresh flowers picked from his own garden, arranging them on canvas into lavish bouquets. Quintessentially English in style with the choice of flowers including hollyhocks, roses and honeysuckle, although Williams was also influenced by Dutch 17th-century flower painters. The print is from a painting entitled 'Garden Glory'. The print is backed with board and framed with a simple wood-effect paper strip wrapping around the edge of the print and the glass. The print has hook and cord on the back for wall hanging. The print, frame, glass are in good vintage condition. Measures: 26 cm.(10.25") height with frame, 22 cm (8.5") wide, 1.5 cm (0.65") deept.
