This is a pair of vintage Franklin Mint Counterpoint Black & White Cat Figurines.
The set was designed by artist Gail Ferretti.
They were produced in 1986 and made available only by direct order from The Franklin Mint.
The figures are crafted from porcelain with a satin finish, one in rare black porcelain and the other in pure white bisque.
The design was inspired by the regal cats of ancient Egypt
In very good condition except a tiny flaw on black cat’s ear. Can’t really see it but I felt it and took a closeup picture.
