Vintage Egg Gathering God's Eye Butt Buttocks Basket Woven Splint Oak Primitive
This vintage small egg gathering basket feature hand-woven splint oak detail. It has a rounded "buttocks" shape - not the most defined, more subtle. The rounded bottom is slightly angled so it doesn't sit completely flat. Has the God's Eye weave at the handle attachments. It came out of a North Carolina estate. A charming addition to Farmhouse, Cottage, Primitive and Rustic decors!
Measures approx 10" tall at the handle peak, 4" tall at the highest rim, 8" by 7.5" wide.
The condition is as seen in the photographs. The basket does have imperfections including some loose and broken weaves, dust in the crevices, some spots of discoloration.
