Vintage Brown Dachshund Made in Austria Pin

This looks like it’s carved wood but I believe it’s an early plastic maybe celluloid
C type clasp so this may date to the 1920’s Idk
Please do your own research
The post where the pin is attached does rotate
Could use a spot of glue
But if your just collection dog pins it’s fine
It clasps ok
But doesn’t have a lot of tension
Sometimes these older pins need fabric under pin to help hold the clasp closed
This works I’m just telling you it doesn’t have a smooth clasp system compared to a new pin
But this is an old vintage Item
Brown in color with black nose & black feet
Approx 2” x 7/8”
Vintage jewelry has been loved & used, because items are older they may have wear due to age, use & storage
