Unique Porcelain Vintage Trinket Box Handpainted Luster Cherubs & Romance Scene
Very cute vintage porcelain little trinket box handpainted in luster paint. It has a pretty soap bubble colored sheen, especially on the base piece. Cherubs inside a leafy frame adorn the top of the lid, and removing the lid reveals a romance serenade scene on the inside of a man playing the lute for 2 ladies, in what seems to be maybe a Medieval or Renaissance time period. Measures 1 & 3/8 inch high with a 3 & 3/8 inch diameter.
Both the base and lid are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
