Trivet/ plant stand/wall hanging

In my household, it never occurred to me to buy new, decorative trivets. I always used the same tattered and worn trivets that were passed down and thrown around. My trivets were the resting place for many meals as my children were growing up. Recently, I have been designing these fun new trivets and in the midst of making them, I realize what a great addition they could be to someone’s kitchen, even as decoration. Plus, they are pretty handy!
