After buying many books and a few DVDs, this is the one I needed! Sterling Edwards is a great speaker and he gives a great introduction to watercolors for the complete beginner. If you already know how to sling paint, this DVD is not for you. If you've tried, without much success, this DVD will help. If you've read books but still can't understand the medium, this DVD will certainly help. Clear, clean, and concise explanations of what he is doing and why; tips on equipment; and a nice demo painting to follow along.Yes, he does mention his own products but also tells you you can find suitable replacements at any art store. Great video!
