Rare Brown Speckled Graniteware Cowboy Campfire Coffee Boiler Pot

This piece has the classic tall “cowboy boiler” silhouette - the style you see in 1950s Westerns. It has vintage rustic patina with a dent on the bottom rim, rust, and an enamel chip by the spout.

The lid is still held to the handle by a rusty wire clip

The pot with lid measures 8 inches tall and 5 1/8 inches across the bottom rim.

This is a pretty scarce piece of vintage graniteware: a full-sized chocolate-brown speckled coffee pot. The deep, rich brown enamel seems to be the rarest production color - most were gray or blue.

Back in the 1910s - 1930s, this style pot was sold as the new sanitary wonder to replace rusty iron. By the 1940s - 1950s it became symbolic of cowboy camps and dude ranches, and the great American road-trip campfire.

Hang it with your ladles or set it on a shelf - it looks right at home in any country, farmhouse, western, rustic or primitive setting.
