The Lap Top Practice Snare measures 1" x 13", weighs about a pound, and incorporates an active snare system. An adjustable snare mechanism allows loose or tight tension for a range of response. It captures all the tonal nuances of a standard snare drum when brushes are used and is an excellent practice device to refine brush technique. The brush sound is so realistic that the Lap Top has been used as a "secret weapon" in studio sessions. Includes drum head and carry case. Zipper is broken on carry case, but because of how it’s made, does not cause the drum to fall out at all.
