Pair of Japanese Mashiko Ware Coffee Cups & Saucers
This charming set showcases the warmth of Japanese Mingei (Folk Art) pottery from Mashiko. The pair includes two distinct styles: one in traditional Persimmon (Kaki) Brown and the other in vibrant Turquoise Blue. Both feature bold, hand-painted Plum blossom (Ume) motifs on thick, durable stoneware.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs. The blue glaze shows natural "crazing" (fine crackle pattern), which is a cherished aesthetic feature of this pottery style, not a defect. They appear unused and have been carefully stored.
