Occupied Japan Windmill Cottage Biscuit Cookie Jar Rattan Handle With Lid

Rare Find: This item is hard to come by. A very charming circa 1940s 50s occupied Japan windmill, cottage, biscuit/ cookie jar with the rattan handle and lid. The cookie/biscuit jar features a hand painted design with a yellow and green body and blue windmill blades. The charming jar has a rattan swing handle. It has one very small piece of rattan gone on the wooden. (See pics). The jar is free of any damage. It does have some mild crazing due to its age, the crazing does not affect its looks. For a piece 80 years old, it really looks great. Size 5.25 inches ceramic pot not including handle, four inches wide. With handle the pieces 8.25 inches high. Non smoking pet free home.
