Madame Alexander restrung 8" Meg doll Eyes open and close easily.
There is some color transfer from the apron to the dress.
Madame Alexander dolls are held together with rubber bands. Over the years the bands become stretched or brittle. Don't risk buying a doll that isn't restrung. It may become floppy or break in shipping. All of my dolls have strong and tight bands.
