Longaberger is an American brand known for its artisanal, handcrafted maple wood baskets. It features a unique 3/8-inch weaving style with accent weaving in a dark green/black color. The basket is oval-shaped, measuring approximately 15.5 inches long, 11” wide and 7.75 inches in height. The wooden lid features an etched (wood-burned) landscape design with a tree and a church in the background.
The basket was part of the first of five "Traditions Baskets" collection, and the wooden form used to create this specific design was retired after its initial use. Highly collectible, featuring a collector's plaque and a weaver's signature on the bottom.
