While many blankets are just for ceremonies, others tell what clan they are from and some show what position is held in the tribal structure. Judy Peele aka "Morning dove," a renowned artist of Comanche and Irish descent, created this beautiful piece of limited edition pottery. The figure covered in a colorful blanket has feathers on their head and in their hands.
The item stands roughly 6 1/2" not including feather height. The back has Judy Peele's signature and reads "Limited Edition of 3,000". The inside of the cylinder reads TP-661.
