This was one of the rarer mechaincals offered by Timex before the switch over to all quartz. These mechaincal movements, type 23, were generally considered to span from 1961 to 1979. However this model was designated as a 1981, one of the last, as well as the dial and movement being made in Great Britian. The case and bracelet were both made in France. This is definitely one of the more desirable collectible Timex's of the past. It has a petite look with a squarish case at 19mm by 23mm and a rose gold look finish. The integrated M-link bracelet continues the look. It will fit up to a 6 1/4" wrist and up to a 6 3/4" wrist with the generic added link. This Timex is definitely in top grade collectible condition and still keeps reasonable time for a watch of the period.
