This beautiful vintage marigold carnival glass butter dish is a gorgeous example of early depression glass in a lovely pattern of raised iris flowers.
Originally made in crystal from 1928-32, Iris or Iris and Herringbone was produced by the Jeannette Glass Company. Pieces with an iridescent finish were made in the 1950s.
This covered butter dish measures 4 3/4 high with the lid in place and is 5 3/4 in diameter
This is in excellent condition with no assessed damages.
The marigold iridescence of this vintage glass butter dish is festive & provides a bit of shiny glam.
