This 5.25" fabulous "Postman" figurine is in MINT condition with no mars. blemishes, repairs, or crazing. It bears TMK #2 (Full BEE WOW!) having been produced Circa 1949 -1959 WOW. Master sculptor Arthur Moeller created this from one of Sister Maria’s sketches in 1939 and it went into production in 1940.
Sister Maria had a love of children and a whimsical nature; she sketched them in various situations. This particular piece displays a boy with his postal satchel hand delivering mail, perhaps for St. Valentine’s Day. No other piece is like this, it is truly unique.
