This very unique vintage ethnic necklace was made in India in the 1970s.
It is a fascinating layered medallion style with three large triple medallions. The medallions are not flat; they are slightly domed and were hand hammered. There are 3 different metals on each medallion; copper, brass, and nickel. Each medallion has hand stamped motifs of flowers and leaves.
The large black beads are ebony wood with brass accents. These beads were very skillfully made as the brass bands are recessed into the wood beads. Smaller brass crimp beads and ebony wood beads make up the rest of
