Beautifully colored, fully natural and unique specimen of gem grade, purple lepidolite from Minas Gerais Brazil. The glistening display mineral features a gorgeous lavender purple slab of bladed lepidolite crystals. The specimen has been sliced and polished to a glassy shine; showing off the intricate coloring and details of the lepidolite. Metallic sparkles flogger in the light and accents of white cleavelandite add great contrast to the gemmy stone. Lepidolite is part of the mica family and has a metallic reflective almost mirror like surface. This Brazilian gen is also semi translucent and passes some light, giving off a warm lavender pink glow. A stunning display piece measuring approx 6.5 by 4cm long and wide, .8cm thick and weighing 41 grams.
