This is a very rare 1980s original American-made Levi's 515.
This particular pair is incredibly rare, featuring the **"button back stamp 515"** which matches the model number.
Unlike current products, this piece retains the deep indigo blue unique to the 80s in almost perfect condition, with a texture that still feels slightly fuzzy.

Manufactured October 1988 (based on the "108" marking on the inner tag)
Button back stamp "515" (rare factory with matching model number)
Mixed fabric (65% cotton / 35% polyester): Less prone to wrinkles than 501, and can be worn dressy with a center crease, it's a fabric often called the "denim version of Sta-Prest."
Zipper fly: Allows for smooth on and off.

Unlike the 501, it's very rare for this material (poly blend) to retain this much color. The photos show the color close to the actual item.

Regarding the patch cracking: The patch is cracked in the photos, but "other than the patch cracking, it's deadstock quality."

As shown in the photos, although the patch is cracked, the fabric retains an astonishing 90% or more of its color.
