Excellent Condition Ebonite Core Montblanc 144 Bordeaux All Gold EF Extra Fine Nib Fountain Pen

This is a Bordeaux-colored Montblanc 144, a classic series. Compared to the black version, the Bordeaux color is less common. Its deep red hue is elegant, making it a popular color with high collectibility. The 144 is a more slender and lightweight size than the 149 or 146, making it highly portable and an easy model to use daily.

This item features an ebonite feed, which was common in the vintage era. This differs from the current resin feed and is a point where you can enjoy a vintage feel.

The nib is a 14k gold monotone nib, with an EF (extra fine) width. Fine characters are less likely to smudge, making it very suitable for Japanese writing, as well as writing in planners and notebooks. The ink flow is stable, and despite being extra fine, it offers a highly practical writing experience.

The condition is excellent. There are minor scratches and small marks due to aging and use, but overall, the luster is maintained, and there are no noticeable large scratches, cracks, or chips.
