These look new-purchased on Maui in the late 50’s to 60’s. The design of these plates leaves a fine edge, It has a tendency to flake, just a few small.. A nice water-resistant finish, great for the lanai. No problems, no cutlery marks. Nice upturned lip.
Constructed from high-quality monkey pod. Nice darker brown aged finish with pretty grain. Flat not warped. Hardwood plates hand-turned, an artistic handmade plate.
