This is Volume I of Dyott’s Diary, 1781–1845, an antique edition published in 1907. The book contains selected journal entries of William Dyott, at times a General in the British Army and Aide-de-Camp to His Majesty King George III. The diary offers valuable insight into military life, court service, and British society during the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

This volume was edited by Reginald Jeffrey of Brasenose College, Oxford, and includes portrait illustrations throughout. While this work was originally issued as a two-volume set, this listing is for Volume I only.
