Vintage 1940's Crown Trifari Alfred Philippe Queens Crown Brooch. Patent No. 137,542. Heavy gold tone metal. Large, oval, ruby red cabochons • Smaller center sapphire blue oval cabochon • Teal green, faceted oval stone -all prong set. Smaller round facetted accent rhinestones in clear, sapphire blue, teal green and ruby. Stamped with the Crown Trifari logo, patent number and the number 48 in the center of the brooch. Safety catch closure. 2" wide x 1 3/4" high. Very good vintage condition. Beautiful color combination - No missing stones. Shows light wear due to age. Gold tone is wearing in areas. The safety catch pin looks like it has been repaired. See last pic
