A very nice thick ring that has been handcrafted from a ring base, an a huge chunky chalcopyrite crystal, also known as peacock ore. The ring was crafted using the electro forming copper plating method.
The green and gold huge Crystal is surrounded by a hand worked border that was all plated in copper . Copper was allowed to "grow" on to the ring in a natural manner, leaving behind unique copper bubbles, hills and valleys throughout the piece, making it unique and rustic.
This ring itself is a hand crafted & electroformed in copper over a period of 4-48 hours, then grinded, hand patinaed then polished and sealed for sensitivity and lasting shine & slower patina over the years.
Recycled parts : recycled copper water pipes were used in the electroforming process.
