Buchan Thistleware small salt and pepper shakers
- Made in Portobello, Scotland 1940s through 1970s.
- Hand painted so each design is slightly different
- Colors vary between pieces, with some lighter shades and some darker shades
- Buchan is considered to be among the world’s finest stoneware, with Thistleware being one of the most popular patterns.
- No two pieces are the same - each piece is hand crafted and hand painted, featuring a thistle, heather and blue bells.
- Great set for the collector!

CONDITION:
- Small chip in base of pepper shaker
- Faint "lines" on the salt shaker that are not heavy cracks, but are noticeable
- Some slight discoloration, and possibly minimal crazing
- Original red plugs have been replaced with new plastic plugs - 1 remaining red plug will be included with purchase
- I see no repairs

APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS:
- 3" tall x 2 1/8" diameter base x 1 1/8" diameter top
- Plug opening is about 1/2"
