Advance reader’s copy / uncorrected proof trade paperback edition of Serafina & The Splintered Heart by Robert Beatty (Scholastic, 2017). Book three in the young adult / middle grade fantasy Serafina series. Scarce pre-publication edition with limited distribution, intended to garner reviews and for grassroots promotion prior to the book’s official release date. Some mild rubbing/scuffing to covers and shelf wear around the edges. As a note, the covers have rain illustrations that may appear to be scratches but are not in reality. Corners slightly bumped and with some creasing. Faint reading crease to spine with top edge bumped. Binding is firm and spine is straight though text block has partially separated from wraps at base of book. Some very subtle blemishes to outer edges of text block, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
