A handsome pair of authentic antique cufflinks dating to the late Victorian / early Edwardian era (circa 1895–1910). These feature classic oval faces with chased scroll and floral motifs, paired with traditional bean-back (kidney-back) swivel fasteners, a hallmark of turn-of-the-century men’s jewelry and favored for comfort and ease of wear.
The cufflinks display period maker’s touchmarks on the reverse — small oval factory stamps consistent with American Providence-school manufacture. Unmarked for karat, as was typical for gold-filled or low-karat gentleman’s accessories of this period.
Both links are original to one another, structurally sound, and show an attractive, honest patina developed over more than a century of age. A refined, wearable antique suitable for formal dress, vintage styling, or a curated jewelry collection.
