A collectible and also elegant piece! 3 piece serving pan, featuring a removable wood handle for easy cooking to service use. Approx 19” long with handle, 20” pan radius.
Made by renowned : Towle Silversmiths. They produced ornate silver-plated serving dishes as part of their extensive hollowware line during the late 19th - early 20th centuries, particularly in the 1880s when "chafing-dish suppers" were popular.
The dish is silver-plated, often over a base metal like brass or copper. The handle is made of wood.
