Antique mid-19th century purple transferware plate attributed to G. Phillips, Parisian pattern. Features a detailed romantic landscape scene with figures and architectural elements at center, surrounded by an ornate floral border in rich purple transferware typical of the Victorian period.
Reverse bears a printed G. Phillips Parisian mark within a decorative crest. While visually similar to Wedgwood Singanese transferware, this plate is not marked Wedgwood and is correctly attributed to G. Phillips or a related Victorian-era maker using the Parisian trade designation.
Measures approximately 10 inches in diameter.
Condition: Good antique condition. No cracks or repairs noted. Shows age-related crazing, light surface wear, and minor discoloration consistent with 19th-century transferware.
