This vintage Celadon mini tea set is a great collectable or children's gift. The tea pot is crafted in the shape of a pumpkin and the tray as a leaf. The four cups are each shaped like tiny gourds cut in half. In China, gourds like pumpkins or calabash, have an association with health and long life. This pumpkin tea set is made of Celadon, which refers to the pale green glaze of the ancient Chinese stoneware. Celadon is technically stoneware, a dense clay ceramic, it is durable and naturally dishwasher and microwave safe.
