Up for sale is an original 19th-century stereoview titled "391. Lower Ausable Pond, Adirondacks" by the renowned American photographer Seneca Ray Stoddard. Stoddard was a pioneer in Adirondack photography, and his work helped influence the creation of the Adirondack Park.

●Subject Matter: A serene, wide-angle view of the pond framed by the high peaks of the Adirondacks.
●Mount: Standard curved cream/tan card mount typical of the late 19th century.

●Image: Good tonal range and clarity for its age. There is a small circular foxing spot/stain in the sky area of the left image (see photos).
●Mount: Showing some light edge wear and minor corner bumping consistent with age. There is a small chip on the bottom left corner of the mount.
