love this little round metal sewing box! The color is so great in a rich orangey red with a finish that fades into a brownish black. There are three pieces to it and the little insert is perfect for holding spools of thread. It has a tin look however the metal is heavier than a regular tin. The knob on top is wood. It is from the Excel Mfg. Corp out of Muncie Indiana, USA, however is not marked.
measures 8.5" in diameter at the widest point and is about 2 3/4" high without the lid and 3 3/4" with it.
