The Brand with the 3 Stripes has decked out it’s NMD silhouettes over the years with uniquely-branded heel pulls, utilizing different languages along the way. And now, adidas look to move that heel detail to the entirety of the silhouettes’ upper on this all-new NMD_R1 “Berlin.”

Like the recently previewed Ultra BOOST “City Pack,” the pairs rock repetitive print in German, French, Japanese and English, with each line translating to The Brand with the 3 Stripes, as seen on countless NMD heel bands before it. “3” appears red/yellow — which reappears again on the outsole, tongue Trefoil motif, and heel pull detail. The EVA forefoot inserts sport the city’s three-letter codes, while the heel print reps the aforementioned The Brand with the 3 Stripes motto in the city’s respective native tongue.
