This is a Chikaramachi Lustreware Trio Set which consists of a Tea Cup, Saucer and Bread and Butter Plate made in Japan, 1940s. It is Porcelain, Hand Painted Lusterware china pieces. A gorgeous bird and intricate flowers are handpainted on the teacup and bread and butter plate, the colors are yellow, green, blue and red. The scroll pattern painted on the edges match all 3 pieces in each trio and is so very delicate looking.
Cup: 3 1/2" diameter, 2" height.
Saucer: 5-3/4" diameter
Salad plate: 7-1/4" diameter

I can not find another teacup set on the internet with this particular bird pattern.
