A lovely 1940's vintage gold plated leaf & flower motif necklace by Lustern/Louis Stern. This finely detailed piece features 3 open metalwork leaves prong set with pink and clear rhinestone flowers that are centrally located along a braided chain with fold over style clasp marked Lustern (in the 1940's version of the marking). The largest leaf is 1 1/4" long, the entire piece is 15 1/2" long. In fine vintage condition.
Lustern (Louis Stern) Jewelry was founded by three German-Jewish brothers in 1867 (Isaac, Louis and Benjamin Stern) in Buffalo New York. The company later relocated to Providence, Rhode Island.
