I love the amber glass of the 70s, my parents had lots of this that we used for daily servingware as well as taking it out for a holiday. It was usually fruit.
This bowl is wonderfully thick and made of pressed glass that gives it this mezmerizing detail.
The detail also serves as a function making ti eaiser to grip and stay in place on a surface.
The bowl has a great weight and aspreviously noted, is not fragile to the touch.
The starburst design is just the best and a detail that lets you know its made by Anchor Hocking
