BC Duetto is the universal intelligent charger for lead-acid and lithium batteries, developed to offer a single multi-use device for all 12 V motorbike batteries. The charger has two charging programmes for lead-acid and LiFePO4 batteries. Its charging current (max. 1.5 Amp) makes it ideal not only for the recovery, charging and maintenance of all motorbike, scooter and quad batteries, but also for the maintenance of car batteries. The charger is designed to remain connected to the battery at all times, without risk and without the need to disconnect the battery from the vehicle, for full charging and long-term maintenance during the months when the motorbike or car is not in use. The internal microprocessor automatically performs a multi-cycle charging algorithm (8 cycles for lead-acid batteries, 7 cycles for LiFePO4 batteries). The algorithm for lead-acid is ideal for the recovery of deeply discharged batteries (from 1.25 volts), charging, desulphurisation and maintenance of all 12 V batteries (conventional, gel, sealed) from 3 to 70 Ah (up to 100 Ah for maintenance). The LiFePO4 charging programme enables the recovery of deeply discharged batteries, the fast and efficient charging of the battery, the balancing of the charge of individual cells and the maintenance over long periods. Safety is guaranteed at every stage: in the event of low temperatures, detected by the integrated sensor, POLAR mode is activated for safe charging at low temperatures. Two LEDs constantly inform the user of the charging cycle and of any malfunctions. BC Duetto does not produce sparks and is protected against short circuit, reverse polarity, overcharging and overheating.
