Similar to an atomic clock weather station, AcuRite Intelli-Time technology makes it easy to always know the date and time without adjusting for daylight saving time. This weather clock’s Intelli-Time technology also saves your time in case of a power outage. The home weather station features self-calibrating technology to provide your personal weather forecast 12 hours from your current conditions. The digital outdoor thermometer sensor is powered by two (2) AA alkaline or lithium batteries (not included).
