This is a replica of the iconic "Major Award" Leg Lamp from the classic holiday film, A Christmas Story.
The lamp is a popular collectible and home decor item, available in various sizes from miniature ornaments to full-size prop replicas, this one is 14" as seen. No harp or shade included. There is a nightlight in the leg and the socket will accomodate a 40watt bulb.
The original prop was created by special effects creator Martin Malivoire and was cast from a real model's leg.
It features a leg wearing a black high-heeled shoe and a fishnet stocking, with the leg itself illuminating.
In the movie, the lamp is won by Ralphie's dad as a contest prize and is a source of both pride and contention.
